Prior to joining Empire, Martin spent over 20 years in the banking industry, taking on various roles at both Co-Operative Bank and NatWest Bank. For the last 16 years of his career, Martin has primarily served as a Mortgage Advisor, assisting customers with their Personal Mortgage and Property Finance needs.

Martin holds several banking qualifications, including the Financial Planning Certificate 1, Financial Planning Certificate 2, and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice CF6 & RO7 Advanced Mortgage Advice. He is currently working towards his certificate in Business Banking.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with his friends and family, particularly his two teenage daughters, Lila and Ava, who are both active in the RAF Cadets.

A dedicated football fan, Martin is a season ticket holder at Stockport County F.C. He has followed the team through the highs of the Championship and the lows of the National League North. Martin is optimistic about the team’s current upward trajectory, a passion shared by his daughter Ava, who is also now a season ticket holder and enthusiastic supporter.
