Marcus Lunt

Marcus joined Empire with a strong track record across the lending spectrum, having worked for a number of bridging, buy-to-let, commercial mortgage and development finance lenders during his time at Barclays from 2019. His background gives him a broad and versatile understanding of the market and an ability to structure creative, outcome-driven solutions.

As Associate Director, Marcus focuses on trading businesses as well as residential and commercial investment and development finance. He’s known for thinking outside the box when it comes to structuring complex deals, and prides himself on building long-term relationships with clients based on trust, clarity and results.

Away from the desk, Marcus is an Everton fan, plays tennis, and has two very different but equally lovable dogs – a German Pointer and a Cavapoo. A keen traveller, he’s got his sights set on exploring North and South America, Australia and Vietnam in the not-too-distant future.
